Data we collect
- Account data — email address, display name, and a password hash. If you sign in with Google or GitHub we receive a stable account identifier and your email.
- Search queries — the terms you search for and when, so your history and the "recent searches" list work. Aggregated counts of popular queries are kept separately and are not linked to you.
- Sign-in records — IP address, browser and operating system, for security and to let you review your own sign-in activity.
- Usage counts — page views and result impressions, used for site analytics shown to the owner of a listed site. These are aggregated, not per-user profiles.
What we do not do
We do not sell personal data. We do not share your search history with site owners or advertisers. We do not run third-party behavioural advertising on this site.
Cookies and local storage
We use a session cookie to keep you signed in, and browser local storage for your theme and accent preferences. Neither is used for tracking.
Retention
Search history is kept until you delete it. You can clear it at any time from your dashboard. Sign-in records are kept for 90 days. Deleting your account removes your personal data; aggregate counters that do not identify you may remain.
Your rights
You can export your saved results and search history at any time, correct your profile details, and delete your account. Contact us to make a request.
Third parties
Sign-in with Google or GitHub is handled by those providers under their own policies. Payments are processed by the payment provider you choose — we never see your card details. Cloudflare Turnstile is used to distinguish humans from bots on the registration and contact forms.
